It is within these continuous growth efforts that in March 2023, we got intergrated into the SFAI GLOBAL network, becoming SFAI Cameroon.
SFAI (Santa Fe Associates) is a transnational network of accountants, consultants and lawyers throughout the world. SFAI Global has over 300 offices in 115 countries, starting in Santa Fe, NM, USA. SFAI traces its roots from the academic side of the profession and also the practice side.
Its origin dates back to 1943 when President Roosevelt decided to install in Los Alamos Laboratory the most prestigious scientists to produce the Manhattan Project. A lot of Nobel Prizes were won by those scientists, led by Albert Einstein. In 1980, three Nobel Prize winners left the laboratory to found Santa Fe Institute, the university (today considered the cathedral of complex thinking). In 1997, three other vice-presidents left the Institute to found what is today known as SFAI, to be the preeminent network dealing with accounting, tax advisory and consulting.
SFAI’s academic board made up of 23 excellent professionals are devoting their full time to think on what is good for our firm (SFAI GLOBAL) as a whole, that is, the organization and the number of firms.

AUFIS (Automatic Financial Statements) was conceived and built by us following our needs for the preparation of annual financial statements (REVISED SYSCOHADA) and the filing of annual statistical and tax returns (DSF of Cameroon).
It enhances online filing of annual financial statements, statistical and tax returns (AUFIS exports to the taxation site) in less than two minutes.
OPTITAX (Optimise Taxes) is the result of long-term work. Its construction was inspired by the world’s recent addiction and adoption of digitalization. Given the volume of the Cameroon General Tax Code, it has never been easy for students and young accounting/taxation professionals to use it. Equally, given that even some veterans of the profession, despite their seniority, experience the same difficulties (though to a lesser degree), we sought to develop this product and take out the ‘volume mare’ by way of digitalization.
AIMS (Assets Inventory & Management Software)
AIMS as the name implies, is a software built to facilitate inventory missions. With the aid of barcodes, geolocations, warehouse/localisation (aerial) videos, photos and final discharge(s) of assets keepers, it gives access to remote supervision of inventory proceedings real time or subsequently throughout the inventory process and to team in charge.

SIMS as the name implies, is a software built to facilitate stock (of goods) inventory missions. With the aid of barcodes, geolocations, warehouse (aerial) videos, photos and final discharge(s) of stock keepers, it gives access to remote supervision of inventory proceedings real time or subsequently throughout the inventory process and to team in charge.
SFAI Cameroon joined the rest of the global network partners at Principe Di Savoia Hotel, Milan – Italy from May 1 to May 3, 2024.
